The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (PBBSc) program is a two-year undergraduate course. This program is designed to prepare General Nursing and Midwifery diploma holders to work as competent practitioners, nurse educators, and supervisors in clinical and public health settings. The program includes a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on training. Some of the subjects covered in the first year include: Nursing Foundation Nutrition and Dietetics Biochemistry and Biophysics Psychology Microbiology Maternal Nursing Child Health Nursing Medical and Surgical Nursing
students should have completed Class 12 with a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and should have a registration in Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).
